The Standard Account

With the standard account you can have up to 4 mailboxes, up to 5Mb of space to create your company web site, and unlimited interactive use.

We offer a variety of dial-up Internet Access packages.

Any of the accounts below can be analogue(with a modem) or ISDN.

Metered Accounts
These accounts use an 0845 number and so on-line time is charged at local phone call rates.

Personal Account:
This is intended for the home user. Support is provided b y a 0990 number(calls cost 25p per minute at all times). Simply go to http://signup.thorinternet.co.uk and you can be online within a couple of minutes.
This account is FREE.

Standard Account
This account is designed for small businesses that require only one or two computers to have Internet Access. Full and unlimited support is provided, including visits to your premises by thorNET staff.

Multi-user accounts
If you have a Local Area Network(LAN) we can connect some, or all, of your networked computers to the Internet through one shared connection. We can supply and configure the router required to make the connection. Includes full and unlimited support, including visits to your premises by thorNET staff.

Unmetered Accounts
These accounts use an 0800 number, and so no phone charges are incurred whilst on-line. We offer two services 'LeisureTime' for the home user, and 'AnyTime' for the business user.

LeisureTime Account
This is an unmetered account for use in off-peak times only(i.e. evenings & weekends)

AnyTime Account
This is an unmetered account for use at any time. It is particularly useful for a business making frequent use of the Internet and email.
This account can be combined with the multi-user LAN account above. Please ask for details.

Please note that these services are "unmetered", not "unlimited". There is a maximum on-line time of 50 hours per month for LeisureTime and 100 hours per month for AnyTime. Accounts exceeding these limits will remain fully functioning but will downgraded to an 0845 account until the next paid month.
